FAQ [Hardware & Software Requirements]

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

MARS-IW is developed in Microsoft® Visual Basic® and will function on all releases of Windows 95®, Windows 98 SE®, NT®, Windows 2000® and Windows XP®. The recommended and supported releases are as follows:

Windows 98® SE 
NT4® service pack 6
Windows XP
Windows 2000®
SQL Server 7 with service pack 3 or
SQL Server 2000

Recommended Client Configuration

1 ghz or better
512 Mb RAM
CD ROM
*Hard Drive 

Recommended Server Configuration

1 ghz or better
1 gigabyte Mb RAM
CD ROM
*Hard Drive

At least SQL Server 7 with service pack 3 or SQL Server 2000 must be  installed on the Server and the SQL Client software installed on all clients running MARS-IW.

*NOTE: Disk storage All configurations
50 Mb available for system
6 Mb/1000 item and location records
