The Special Orders entry screen is accessed from the More menu on the Order page. This screen is used to manually add items to an order. The intent is to allow the user to add items that are normally not forecasted to an order. The user enters the location and item number along with the order quantity and hits the enter key. This will add the item to the Special Order screen. The user can continue to add items in this fashion until finished. Clicking the Done button will add these items to the order.
Considerations:
Items added in this fashion will be ignored if they already exist in the current order.
While this is intended for Special Order items, any valid item can be added to the order using this screen.
Items added with the Special Orders screen will retain their original settings including the item's vendor. It is the user's responsibility to properly construct a valid order.
